Gone, but not forgotten, Zordon was the force behind the Rangers, a father like figure who guided them in their quest for galactic peace. Zordon sacrificed his life in 1999 when evil forces had spread throughout the universe, and there seemed no way to be rid of them. Zordon gave Red Ranger Andros permission to shatter his energy tube, the only thing that would sweep through the solar system to clear away the evil. |

Zordon was trapped in his energy tube over 10,000 years ago by Rita Repulsa. The shattering of the energy tube destroyed many evil villains, including Rita Repulsa, her brother Rito, Lord Zedd her husband, Squatt, Baboo, Finster, Goldar, all putties, monsters, the entirety of Machine Empire, Divatox, her forces, Ecliptor and more.
Zordon was like a father to all rangers, he guided them through difficult times and maintained the protection of the earth from his Command Center.The Command Center was based on earth so Zordon and Aplpha 5 could keep an eye on Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd.
